Thieves!

Well that explains why we are going through the bird seed so quickly!

The photo is a little blurry because I took it through the kitchen window. I thought that they would scatter if I opened the door and went out to the porch. Nope! They waited until our dog had them on the run.

Yeah, those little *&%#! (stinkers), lol. They've been raiding my feeder too, the one that's stuck to my window! How do they get UP there? I've found that if I give them their own food, they stay out of the feeders. I got a bag of corn, sunflower seeds, and peanuts from Walmart, and put a big pile away from the feeders. They seem to like that better, and so far *crossing fingers*, the birds have their feeder back.

Maybe it will work for you?

well at least your little varmits aren't living in your ceiling!!! (when we bought our house it was already "occupied" - they have now been evicted)

my grandma used to grease the pole to her feeder becasue she got so mad at the squirrels. Didn't work very well though. We have a suet feeder and other feeders for the finches, the squirrels don't do to well with those.

i had to get rid of my bird feeder, the squirrels were driving my dogs insane. all you have to do is say the word squirrel...

My parents have this problem too... they switched to some kind of seed that squirrels don't like (little black seeds, the name escapes me)

Cute though!

I haven't seen them right at the feeder since our dog put the run on them. But yes Maggie, I think they are cute too. I don't even mind feeding them SOME, but when they eat the birds' feed it can be annoying.
